Hot Jewlz Defined

Quite a few people have been asking me what Hot Jewlz means, and why it was chosen as the name for our label home.  Well, Hot Jewlz is defined as the combination of:

HOT - “Hot music, designed to move and inspire”
JEWLZ – “Jewels of information that proves that beauty and strength can emerge from immense pressure.”

Basically, I wanted my music to reflect the struggles that we all face, and to champion the idea that we can overcome adversity through music.  For me, battling what I’ve faced, I’ve found music as therapy has been very helpful.  Hopefully you will also be able to overcome obstacles that stand in your way of greatness.
