With sonic creations ranging from hip hop, rock, electro, pop and R&B, HJ Productions aims to constantly push the boundaries of music. This production company is even responsible for designing the soundscapes of ‘electro-hip rock’. This sound is best described as a fresh fusion of electro, hip hop and rock music.
With influences from Kanye West, Timbaland and Will. I Am, this beat-making company provides hard hitting, emotion filled music, with a whole new style. Suspence (main producer) started producing beats at the tender age of 12 years old, out of his start-up basement studio. Over the years, Suspence has diversified his beat-making portfolio crossing into many different genres of music.
He picked up his nickname ‘Suspence’ because of his daring nature to switch up his style consistently from song to song. This method would create an atmosphere of suspense as listeners would try to guess this young producer’s next move.
“I’m a new school producer, but with a healthy respect for the forefathers of hip hop production. I want to be in the category of other legends who could produce a whole album, and make it sound like 10 different innovative producers.”
